A. It is not located outside the twin cities. It’s western border is the City of Minneapolis. It would be called a Tier 1 suburb or a first ring.
B. It’s not as affluent as it once was. The wealthy are moving out farther west.
C. I would describe it as more of a liberal hippie younger population. During the last election I saw very few hillary yard signs yet they were more common in Edina.
D. Edina stands for Every Day I Need Attention.
I was surprised that this was happening in Edina, but your info helped it make sense. Here in outstate MN Edina still has the reputation of being wealthy.
