Getting more and more information about the outside world into the general populace of North Korea could also serve to undermine the regime. There are already some signs of it as technology despite all of the controls by the regime is allowing it to creep in and the populace is becoming increasingly aware of how much worse of they have it than other nations.

I hope you're right.

I've hoped for the same thing in Iran for about 30 years, but no joy.

Unfortunately the power of propaganda is huge, just look at what the leftists do in the schools here.

Doubt it. The regime is so brutal all citizens are in a constant morbid fear of torture and/or death, so much so that they are paralyzed from doing anything.

They are being watched so closely that there is no way groups of resistance can even begin to form.
