I think what I am getting from some is they can no longer deduct high medical expenses. There are some really ill Freepers. Sad.
What I am getting is the same people have been claiming things not true, like liberals.
The anti-Trump types have been out in force lately on FR making liberal statements.
the taxation would work out for us THIS year....but property taxes do not go down...and eventually, we’ll be in the red in owing taxes...of course we are getting older and our income will go down..
Even we healthy freepers had some unreimbursed medical deductions, property tax, charitable, state sales taxes. By eliminating most of those it puts it close to the new standard deduction so not really worth itemizing any longer. Replace that with a lower (than old itemized) standard deduction and you pay more taxes.
