Former Democratic National Committee head Donna Brazile writes in a new book that she seriously contemplated replacing Hillary Clinton as the partys 2016 presidential nominee with then-Vice President Biden in the aftermath of Clintons fainting spell, in part because Clintons campaign was anemic and had taken on the odor of failure.
In an explosive new memoir, Brazile details widespread dysfunction and dissension throughout the Democratic Party, including secret deliberations over using her powers as interim DNC chair to initiate the process of removing Clinton and running mate Sen. Tim Kaine (Va.) from the ticket after Clintons Sept. 11, 2016, collapse in New York City.
Brazile writes that she considered a dozen combinations to replace the nominees and settled on Biden and Sen. Cory Booker (N.J.), the duo she felt most certain would win over enough working-class voters to defeat Republican Donald Trump. But then, she writes, I thought of Hillary, and all the women in the country who were so proud of and excited about her. I could not do this to them.
Brazile paints a scathing portrait of Clinton as a well-intentioned, historic candidate whose campaign was badly mismanaged, took minority constituencies for granted and made blunders with stiff and stupid messages. The campaign was so lacking in passion for the candidate, she writes, that its New York headquarters felt like a sterile hospital ward where someone had died.

Donna is delutional if she thinks that she alone could make that decision.
She gives herself much more credit than she deserves.
Biden and Cory Booker have real national drawing power......
Bwahahahaaaahaaaa
Im so sick of your face. You stare at the wall like a brain dead buffalo, while letting that f ing Lauer get away with this. What are you good for, really? Get the f to work janitoring this mess do I make myself clear?
roflmao!!!!
Just reading the whining comments from hill-bots is worth a click to the link.
decisions decisions....who knew!!
Im in SoCal..I haven’t been outside today but it seems like a quiet day. Commie media makes it out to be like everywhere people are pissed Trump is President..PLEASE. I went yesterday to the local mall, people laughing, paying 1000 bucks for overpriced iPHONE X’s, only a select few morons are having a hissy fit over Trump, most people are living their lives, especially the ones that had lives to begin with
Fixed it
I don’t think Slow Joe would have beaten Trump, either, though he might have done better that Hell.
Which reminds me.
Where are Jesse and Al, the social justice warriors, coming to defend Donna against this racist DNC onslaught?
Oh, I forgot, they are in bed with the oppressors and more importantly, gutless corrupt cowards.

What’s he lookiing for, Ridin’ the Storm Out?
Prolly shoot herself five times in the back of the head.
So WHO does Donna think is responsible for the murder of Seth Rich???? If she took this matter so seriously as to fear for her own life, did she talk with the FBI or other investigators??? Did she try to DO anything to ensure justice for Seth Rich and his family? The head of a national political party fears for her life after one of her staff members is murdered, and nothing is to be done about it????
This is beyond bizarre.
Any reaction from Hillary?
There is a procedure, the chair (Donna) calls a meeting of the DNC. No, she doesn’t make the decision alone, but she can initiate the procedure and quite possibly influence the outcome.
She said she was scared after Seth Rich was murdered and wouldn’t stand at windows to avoid snipers. Only I think she was implying it was Russians she was afraid of instead of Clinton. Maybe she has received threats and that’s why she’s backing off.
“whose campaign was badly mismanaged”
so the campaign mismanaged itself? Or was Hillary herself not actually in charge of her own campaign and was simply a figurehead? OR did Hillary simply mismanage her own campaign?
WaPo simply can’t bring itself to state the bald truth that their golden girl candidate wasn’t the smartest and most prepared person in the history of the universe for the Presidency, but instead was actually the worst Democrat Presidential candidate ever nominated, can it?
Nope. WaPo just has to fall back on the passive “whose campaign was badly mismanaged” as if Hillary herself had nothing to do with it.
Brazile Nutz.
