Visa Lottery Chain Migration Imported 5 Million Foreigners Since 1994, Says Report
Breitbart ^ | 11/02/2017 | John Binder

The visa lottery has triggered a hidden wave of chain migration, and has delivered almost 5 million foreign nationals to the United States since 1994, says a new analysis.

New research by the Center for Immigration Studies reveals the enormous chain-migration impact of the visa lottery program, where 50,000 visas every year are given to foreign nationals from a multitude of countries. The countries include those with terrorist problems, including Afghanistan, Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Syria, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Yemen, and Uzbekistan.

Foreign nationals from eligible countries can win the visa lottery if they have a high-school degree and two years of work experience. Once they win the green cards to permanently stay in the United States, the migrants can bring in their spouses and minor children. Each arrival can get citizenship in five years, and then begin choosing members of their extended family — including parents, siblings and their children — to also become U.S. residents and citizens, regardless of their character, education, ideology or security risks. This expanding, unscreened immigration system is known as “chain migration,” and it has more than doubled U.S. immigration rates during since the 1980s.

The program is in the public eye because of the November 1 massacre of eight cyclists in New York, allegedly by Uzbek Muslim — Sayfullo Saipov — who won a green card in the 2010 visa lottery.

Data collected by the Center for Immigration Studies found that 1.1 million lottery winners have brought 3.8 million unscreened chain-migrants to the United States since 1994.

Isn’t it great!?!

No doubt most of these people from some of the the most anti American shitholes in the world would be the biggest supporters of our cherished constitution. (S)

“Mass immigration via chain migration to the U.S. has led to negative impacts on the American public. For instance, every year, 4 million blue-collar and white-collar Americans graduate from college but are thrown into a workforce where they must compete with nearly 1.5 million new illegal and legal immigrants who are admitted to the U.S. every year.”

“Immigration Multipliers

Trends in Chain Migration”

Jessica Vaughan
September 27, 2017

Chain Migration Is the Main Source of Immigration

Recent Immigrants Bring Average of 3.45 Additional Family Members

Key Findings:

- More than 10.6 million immigrants were admitted from 2007 through 2016

- Over the last 35 years, chain migration has greatly exceeded new immigration. Out of 33 million immigrants admitted to the United States from 1981 to 2016, about 20 million were chain migration immigrants (61 percent).
- Judging from preliminary administrative data, approximately 1,125,000 legal immigrants were approved for admission in 2016, which is about 7 percent higher than 2015, and one of the highest numbers in the last decade.
- The largest categories of chain migration are spouses and parents of naturalized U.S. citizens because admissions in these categories are unlimited by law.
- According to the most complete contemporary academic studies on chain migration, in recent years each new immigrant sponsored an average of 3.45 additional immigrants. In the early 1980s, the chain migration multiplier was 2.59, or more than 30 percent lower.
- Of the top immigrant-sending countries, Mexico has the highest rate of chain migration. In the most recent five-year cohort of immigrants studied (1996-2000), each new Mexican immigrant sponsored 6.38 additional legal immigrants.
- Chain migration is contributing to the aging of the immigration stream. In the early 1980s, only about 17 percent of family migrants were age 50 or over. In recent years, about 21 percent of family migrants were age 50 or older — a rate that is more than 24 percent higher. This trend has implications for the fiscal consequences of immigration.
- Enacting an amnesty for roughly 700,000 DACA beneficiaries is likely to add double that number in additional immigrants because of chain migration, as the amnesty beneficiaries sponsor their parents and other family members.
- Congress could mitigate the chain migration impact of a DACA amnesty by eliminating and/or scaling back the three main categories of chain migration (parents, adult sons and daughters, and siblings of citizens). If the controversial visa lottery program also were eliminated, legal immigration would be reduced by 20 percent.

Yesterday I was in my bank standing in line and the person in front of me and the person in back of me were both speaking in a foreign language!!! Again, yesterday, I was parked in school parking lot waiting for my grandson and a woman with a hijab parked her car at the stop sign with her right signal turned on like she was going to pull into the school parking lot but she just stayed at the stop sign and cars had to go around her.

Those damn politicians have given away our country!!!

This thread reminded me of the Clintons and their immigration policies back in the 90's. I recall Attorney David Schippers being involved in writing a report about the abuses of the INS by the Clinton Administration. Don't know what his political affiliation is now, but at the time, he was a life-long Democrat. He was hired by Henry Hyde as Chief Investigative Counsel for the US House Judiciary Committee's investigation investigation possible impeachable offenses by Clinton.

When I did a search, I found this article from 2016:

End this travesty.

This is nothing more than a plan to reduce whites to a minority in the US.
