A Florida congressional candidate told POLITICO that she decided Tuesday to file a police complaint against a former Democratic ally after three other women echoed her sexual harassment complaints about him.
Rafael Velasquez has vehemently denied the charges... and has speculated that she’s trying to gain attention for her campaign for Florida’s 27th congressional district.
But Velasquez’s own party is turning its back on him by withdrawing its support and calling on him to quit his campaign for the city commission. His entire campaign team quit Tuesday, a week before the election...
“He can call me a liar all he wants, but other women are coming forward,” said Rosen Gonzalez... She pointed out that she backed Velasquez...
After Velasquez denied the account and questioned her motives and the timing of her complaint, a public relations professional named Frances Albán then came forward Monday and said Velasquez “groped” her by squeezing her backside while taking a photo. He then sent her text messages, accompanied with emojis of purple devils, telling her how sexy she was. Velasquez, a married father with two children, denied her account but acknowledged sending the text messages.
“I was complimenting her,” he said. “I thought we were friends … What these people are saying are lies.”...
“She is making no sense,” Velasquez said. “She is crazy...”
“I was ‘Harvey Weinsteined’ by Rafael Velasquez,” she said.

I can’t help but think this leftist-Democrat circular firing squad is due to Trump.
Simply put, he has emboldened people to speak out, and not be politically correct - on all sides of the political spectrum. Leftists think they are “rebelling” but they are really just acting out contradictions within their own positions, and within their factions.
Funny, I’ve never heard of a man complaining he was “lewinskied.”
I think it's for both of these reason and also to avoid temptation. That would explain why he said he doesn't drink alcohol at functions that include women.
My point was more that Pence has a personal policy that he has voluntarily made for himself (which I respect).
The way the current climate is going, men will be forced to ensure they are never around women, and never communicate them in any way, in order to avoid a witchhunt 15 years later.

What's amusing is how this plays against the sexist attitudes of Islam.
