Brown said in a disciplinary letter that he was deeply troubled by Paynes conduct, which he said brought significant disrepute on the department.
Payne is appealing that decision, saying the firing was an unfair reaction to the negative publicity.
That was fast.
How long did she fight to get the video from the body cameras?
This is good. While the lack of rule of law is present in many aspects of our society, righteous people are brutalized on a daily basis by our Stasi police force.
Payne is appealing the decision, saying that the firing was an unfair (hit to his pension).

Why wasn’t he arrested for that felony? It was committed in the presence of other officers who had a duty to arrest him on the spot.
I didn’t understand that either. I think the university crew was cowed by him, or afraid they’d be shot.
Cops screw up and taxpayers foot the bill.
Just a “hit” to the pension? They should have voided the entire retirement package.
Hope so.
Wow, good haul! She should give the person who took the video a cut!
“Retirement, here I come!”
She reads off a checklist of 3 conditions that weren’t meant. Cop didn’t care about that.

That award was way, way to high.
And what do you want to bet they will re-elect the same people who hired this guy?
Until they start holding their elected officials responsible they will keep paying through the nose and they will deserve to do so.
You misspelled ‘low’, I hope unintentionally.
Why?
