If you’re Manafort’s attorney, this guy has a history of having won convictions reversed on appeal.
Despite fake media chortling, it remains to be seen how airtight the prosecution’s case is and you can be sure the defense will go over it with a fine-toothed comb.
Mueller is a long way from winning a conviction. Trial won’t begin for several months.
Heard about this Weismann guy awhile back, and then again last night. Apparently has had lots of his work overturned due to bullying style, and tactics. After what I heard wondering how he still has his license.
Is this guy from Waco?
Christopher A. Wray. Wasn’t he confirmed as the new FBI director? Has he ever said or done anything? Or is he the silent partner.
What most of us who have not been in the court system DON’T KNOW that justice is not the goal of most attorney’s, whether prosecuting or defending.
The goal is WINNING their case. Only winning their case pads their pockets and betters their careers. Attorneys only succeed by WINNING. FAR TOO many don’t care at all about justice.
Their name, reputation, position in the legal world, and income are all dependent on WINNING.
NOT ALL - but this is true for far too many.
There is no justice in this world.
But there surely will be in the next.
The Supreme Court also reversed one of his convictions by 9-0, reportedly "with pleasure" because they despised Weissmann's unethical behavior so much.
He also destroyed about 70,000 Arthur Anderson jobs, just because he could.
