Got to agree with you there - it’s disturbing that an allegation can destroy someone without due process, evidence, a trial, an attorney. A mere statement is accepted as fact. ANY statement the accused makes in thier defense won’t seem credible at this point. So they go down in flames.

While it is disturbing how much sexual depravity is going on in those circles, without due process it seems like a free-for-all to perhaps get back at people who maybe just pissed you off years ago.

And I am NOT defending the Harvey Weinstein’s of the world! God knows there are pervs seemingly everywhere. But what happened to the right to face your accuser in a court of law?

How is Kevin Spacey being denied “due process”? He has money and lawyers. He can take the accuser to court.

Not quite the same as getting canned just because you’ve been accused of something.
