Personally, I think this indictment is an effort to put the fear of God in Manafort in order for him to “spill the beans” on what he knows about the Trump-Russia collusion ( if there are any ). This, in exchange of course, for leniency in this particular unrelated indictment.

My thoughts also. They want something on Trump, no matter how minute.
Manafort was under investigation originally in 2012...all Mueller did was pick up on that investigation...you guys are adding all this “intrigue” about so called collusion..the word collusion doesnt appear one time in the indictments today..neither does Trumps name. The reason is...theres no such crime as “COLLUSION”...collusion applies to anti-trust lawsuits. This is all done to hurt Trump politically...
