To: Wonder Warthog

well, think about it. A church throws out - rejects - our founding father. Not a mosque but one of those churches who’s supposed to teach our sins are forgiven through redemption. Or used to, anyway, until malcontents took judging Americans off the shoulders of Christ and the Saints and onto themselves, bless their little hearts. And the President, who represents our founding fathers, is supposed to show up all smiles and giggles? You and I wouldn’t. Why would he? Is the church going to dig up graves next? If they want a divorce from America and their historic landmark status, they can have one but it should be a proper divorce - uncomfortable on both sides.

There is a big difference between Trump CHOOSING not to attend, and "being kept from attending", as in being told "don't ever darken our doorstep with your presence". The phraseology is very ambiguous. I have no doubt that there are churches out there who WOULD do the latter.

I started life as a "cradle Episcopalian". The ECUSA lost me with women priests.
