That's true but in Flake's case; he kicked his own ass. The people of AZ elected the person Flake said he was; not the person he really is. We have his number so there was no way he was going to get re-elected. There was also an issue with a pet boarding house his family owns in Phoenix that didn't have alarms systems in case the air conditioning went off and they didn't have anyone there full time like there should have been. The AC failed and lots of people lost their beloved cats and dogs. The people of AZ don't forget.
McCain did the same thing; said one thing then did the exact opposite. There's no way he could ever get elected again. I'm just sad he was re-elected this time. I figured the people had his number. I think he got a of dem votes and so did Flake. Two bastards we are glad to see go.
