Doc: Do you have firearms in your house?
JamesP81: in the evenings, do you go down on your wife first or do you go straight to the boom boom?
Doc: Uh, that’s reallly—
JamesP81: —none of my business. You’re absolutely right. And that ignorant question you asked is none of yours. Stick to subjects that have some relevance to medical topics.
Or, better yet:
Doc: do you have firearms at home?
JamesP81: No.
If the doctor asks if you have a gun in the house, the answer is, “do RPGs count”?
I bet if someone asks you can tell them which lake to search.
Good.
Correct. 11th Cir. Court of Appeals (FL, GA, AL) held that the law violated the doctors’ right of free speech. It was not appealed to SCOTUS, so the 11th Cir. ruling stands:

I recently sat in a doctors office with my wife, her appointment. The doc turned and looked at me and asked the questions regarding firearms, I responded-”don’t ask me, I am not your patient”.
My wife said “ no we don’t one firearm in the house”.
I smiled inwardly, as I sat there with my loaded concealed glock and 33 rounds of ammo. My wife had her BUG in her purse. Gotta love Missouri!
The doc never he was probably safer in is office that half hour than he’d ever been.
“In various states, including California, doctors can demand a patient have a psychiatric evaluation, which then prohibits a patient from possessing firearms.”
Good reason to lie.
But in Arizona, I’d go with, “Break in my house at 2AM and you will get your answer!”
Just ask the Doc to answer your question “Have you stopped beating your wife?” first. An intelligent person will get the message, one that keeps pushing is probably not the Doc for you.
I always lie if someone with no honest reason for asking shows an interest in guns and my home. “No, of course not.” I’m not even going to argue with them; you cannot reason with a leftist. I just lie and find a new doctor.
They should ask if you own a Car.
35,000 People die in Car Accidents every year and hundreds of thousands are injured in Car Accidents every year.
Did they ask if you have Pool or if you live near a Lake or the Ocean?
Thousands of people die of Drowning every Year with tens of thousands injured.
True story: I was in active labor with my first child and the nurse asked me if I had any guns. My response was, “In my vagina?” My OB laughed out loud. (To be fair, I really was wondering what that question had to do with giving birth...)
Yep. But people are such sheep and think doctors are so above everyone else that they just answer stupid questions.
I had a dermatologist who removed a very small skin cancer on my nose. Told me it would be a few cuts, no big deal. 18 stitches later and my nose skewed so bad that I had to have almost $10,000 in plastic surgery to fix it.
The day before my 3rd plastic surgery I made an appointment with that butcher and showed him what he did, told him he sucked etc. Hubby was with me and this doc bowed up at my husband like he was gonna punch hubby. Doctor threw me out of his office. I promptly walked through his office staff room and his waiting room on the way out, grabbed my records and loudly, up close and personal like showed the next victims what kind of doctoring the pratice did. They all sat there in disbelief. Never sued them. Could have. But next thing I know, that doc was fired. Has his own practice now and gets very bad reviews.
It was a good day!!
Right, so we can be put on some “bitter clingers” list. Good luck with that, doc.
I was asked by the MA this question along with any feelings of depression during a visit to my doctor in Davis. I smiled and told her that I knew she was instructed to ask these questions but that I also had the right to decline to answer, so I did. She replied that “she gets that a lot”.
Already ventured in some venues and not well received, called obama care. Succeeded in killing more people through socialist repression of exceptionalism than those to sucumb to fake gun violence.
Truely under the don’t ask or get told off category.
Recently I had to take my teenage daughter to urgent care for an upper respiratory infection.
I don’t know how the conversation turned this way but the doctor said it’ll be great when the combustion engine is banned and we all have to drive electric cars and take public transportation.
My daughter loathed him and said she would rather be sick than be treated by him again.
Doctors need to heal their patients and stop meddling.
I’ll see your Sean Penn and raise you a Helen Thomas and a Hillary Clinton.
Shame on you!
Dems pushing 2035 for no more internal combustion autos. Guess only wind powered huh? Fidiots.
It started under Obama. My Doc doesn’t ask (he’s a conservative), the nurses do.
Wow, was this under Trump?
