This phrase “picked it up” keeps being used and it’s really very curious. I don’t for one second believe that a contract was signed to perform research services meaning that WFB owned it, and somehow Fusion GPS just took it and gave it to the Clinton campaign? No, it had monetary value and it was owned by WFB. They had to grant permission for use of their research, theirs. And, it was likely sold seeing as how it had monetary value.

Just to pull these stories together a bit

I just posted this on another thread.

A little off topic here but maggief, you are a fantastic researcher.

Currently we have Dem/Hillary surrogates saying Opposition Research is normal and expected during a Campaign.

And

We have top Democrats saying They new nothing about the Steele Dossier. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Hillary? and many others.

If you recall, and I know you do. There was a Clinton campaign manager speaking in public well before election day saying they had dirt on Trump and a Russian connection.
