Hillary Clinton turned 70 Thursday, starting her day on crutches while visiting her daughter Chelsea Clinton But later in the evening, she appeared at the Wonder Woman awards event without crutches looking the picture of health
The former Secretary of State received an award and gave an impassioned speech about female equality in America
Husband Bill Clinton and Chelsea earlier shared sweet birthday messages and a vintage photo over Twitter
However Donald Trump Jr took the occasion to take shots at the 70-year-old and taunted her over Twitter in two separate tweets
Hillary Clinton hobbled across the sidewalk on crutches as she left daughter Chelsea's New York home on her 70th birthday.
But she then ditched them to pick up her 'Wonder Woman' award at a star-studded ceremony on Thursday night.
Hillary, who suffered a broken toe after a fall in London earlier this month, made the superhero-like transformation as day turned to night.
She managed to look radiant in red in photos obtained by DailyMail.com, as she headed out of Chelsea's apartment before turning up crutch-less to accept the accolade.
The ex-Democratic presidential hopeful also managed a smile on the day she learned her campaign and the DNC were accused of 'hiding' the fact that they commissioned a dossier on Donald Trump.

For some reason, that image doesn’t display for me.
Im with you. Sheesh. Last year I had foot surgery. Doc dremelled off bone spurs on my big toe joint and then put an implant in between the toe and foot since he took off so much bone. Was never on crutches but was wishing I had a knee scooter for a day or two. But then that was it. I had a shoe and was walking on it the day after surgery.
We can only hope.
