I see rhetoric from very few Freepers like yours, but it does exist here. Hatred (not too strong a word in this case, especially given the context you use) for other Americans who live in a state not your own, or one you favor. It was the same kind of thing we saw during the California wildfires. A few Freepers chimed in how much California had it coming, and they we’re glad it was burning, and people were suffering. If you don’t believe me go back and look at the threads.
So you take pleasure that millions of middle-class Americans will be financially soaked and burdened by these tax increases. Fine. That’s your prerogative.
But it says more about you than it does about me.
People choose where they live. If it is a concern you could move to Texas where there is no state income tax at all.
It’s not personal. It’s business.
