Coincidence? Why now?
Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) has become absolutely unhinged, especially yesterday. His attacks against President Trump were shrill, childish, overly personal, and smacked of a man in a panic.
Corker is chairman the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. McCain is chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
A few weeks ago, a friendly journalist to Corker was on the Hugh Hewitt show. Hugh asked him why Corker was holding up Trump's nominees for ambassadorships to Germany, Niger, France, Turkey, etc.
The journalist stated that Corker was (paraphrasing): 'Fighting back against Trump with everything the Senator has, but he has to use the tools he possesses.'
Why would a Republican Senator have to fight a Republican President "with everything he has"?
