” all to “pay for” a massive tax break for corporations “

This conservative believes expanding and growing businesses are VASTLY more helpful to the middle class than “the state and local tax exemption” - one which would be swallowed up for most by a larger standard deduction anyways.

I find the communist idea that business is bad and deserves confiscatory taxes so politicians can buy things for their voters....repulsive.

How humble and what a self sacrifice for you! I'll set up a bronze statue in your honor, as the rest of us pay thousands of dollars more in taxes to fuel your ego and charity.

Hear hear!

All conservatives should embrace two very important and powerful truths:

1. Wealth is not evil.

2. The most powerful of corporations can't arrest you and throw you in prison, or a mental institution. Government can.

This pervasive idea of the "eeeeevil corporation" in our society is a Leftist fiction and should find no place in conservative dialog.

re the corporate tax breaks....their tax breaks will have no good bearing on my finances...

our local taxes will not go down...

the price of things will not go down...

we'll have more perfumed privileged people running around, but it won't be the middle class/working class...

I'm still on the fence on the tax "breaks"....

IOWS...I'll believe it when I see it...

if we loose our tax deduction for our home mortgage it'll be hard to take, but if we loose out on property taxes and sales taxes, to me, its just TAX UPON A TAX.....
