When the White House personnel report was released in June, Forbes reported 110 fewer employees under President Trump than President Obama; a projected four-year savings would be more than $22 million.
First-Lady Melania Trump is following a similar path with personnel reductions saving millions.

Since we all know that government employees rarely get fired, it needs to be asked ... did these people get removed from the taxpayer-funded payroll or simply shifted to positions not connected to the Trumps' staff?
If the latter, then the taxpayers are still getting soaked and Melania's actions are merely symbolic.
