But experts note that the fluid is sterile and contains nutrients, so much so that it can be and is used as a fertilizer
Burial at sea for me. Fish food.
Mix it with beer and have a super soaker funeral.
Sounds likequicklime owould do much the same to me.
Soylent Green.
Kind of a KGB flavor to this, isn’t there? Gives new meaning to describing someone who has been murdered as “liquidated.”
Somehow I can’t see much of a market at Ace Hardware for fertilizer labeled ‘Liquefied Human’.
So, that's how Starbuck's does it.
This is what the Mexican cartels do to their murder victims, AFAICR; either this way or with acid. The Slimes is suggesting this for burial “alternative”?
Isn’t this what the Mexican cartels do when they decide to dispose of a body?
Soylent Green paste.
Leaving the body out for buzzard food or planting it in the garden is a lot cheaper and no need for chemicals.
I have arrangements to be buried in a vineyard, under a grape vine.
I’d gladly leave my body to science, but it would probably set biology back 10 years.
I remember seeing a meme that said, “Hey, there’s a third option, who knew? Below that was a hearse towing a wood chipper.
My kids have my instructions. Throw me on a stack of pallets and use lighter fluid. Bring marshmallows. Spend less than $50.
U: I THINK WE'VE GOT AN EATER!
F: (offstage) I'll get the oven on!
M: Um, er...excuse me, um, are you... are you suggesting eating my mother?
(pause)
U: Yeah. Not raw, cooked!
M: What?
U:Roasted with a few french fries, broccoli, horseradish sauce ...
M: Well, I do feel a bit peckish.
U: Great!
M: Can we have some parsnips?
U: (calling) Fred - get some parsnips.
M: I really don't think I should.
U: Look, tell you what, we'll eat her, if you feel a bit guilty about it afterwards, we can dig a grave and you can throw up in it.
Some would likely have a higher percentage of fertilizer than others.
No thanks, I’ll stick with standard Cremation by fire. Both my wife and myself have decided to go The Cremation route. We both believe that the whole business of the funeral industry is a racket. They prey on the sorrow of the families of the deceased and charge absolutely ridiculous prices for a casket which can be upwards of $15,000 which is going to be buried in the ground and then the wake and then the funeral. I mean really who enjoys going to look at a dead body?
They try to tell you that it’s all about closure. They try to tell you that the relatives and friends would like to pay their last respects. While all this can be done without looking at the body without spending upwards of $15,000 for a box without paying for a funeral without standing around listening to people talk about the deceased. Memorial service followed by a get together perhaps at a local restaurant or the home of a relative of the deceased can take care of ALL of the above.
It is all a racket intent on praying on the emotions of the surviving family.
