Yep. Rush was solidly GOPe for decades. Now he has abandoned them and thrashes them on a daily basis. You’d think they’d buy a clue when the lost Rush but apparently not. I can only think they prefer progressive Democrats to the GOP base that elects them. Nothing else makes sense.
What prompted Rush to stop being a good little water boy for the GOPe was watching the firestorm that hit Bush when he tried to ram amnesty through.
Rush had been absolutely silent about the massive illegal alien problem despite many Californians pleading with him for years to talk about it. Well he never did, but when he saw the reaction to Bush’s attempted amnesty he got a wake up call. It was either chase the parade and yell “wait! wait! I’m your leader!” or get left in the dust with the GOPe.
