I met Bush in the White House. I had great hopes for him and indeed thought he was a fine man.
But no “fine man” attacks a sitting president of his own party this way. Sad how he has fallen.
I also had great respect for W at the time.
But unfortunately for the Bush family, it seems revenge comes before country.
