Division of labor. Most of this stuff has been stuck in Burr’s Intelligence Committee.

It is Judiciary’s turn because they have oversight of DOJ (and FBI).

Punishing bureaucrats and appointees is up to the whole of Congress and/or the Justice Department. Committees have no power of punishment.
