Richard Spencer is one of the leaders of alt-right. Here are others: Jason Kessler, Mike Peinovich; Michael Hill, Matthew Heinbach, David Duke, Augustus Invictus, Pax Dickerson, Chris Cantwell, Andrew Anglin, Nathan Damigo, Robert Ray, Eliot Kline, Michael Tubbs, and other.

There are also many groups such as Traditionalist Worker Party and League of the South

These are amongst the alt right leaders and groups who were at Charlottesville and all these colleges are trying to stop Spencer because they are worried that another Charlottesville will break out.
