George W. Bush hinted Thursday at his dissatisfaction with Donald Trump, complaining in a New York City speech that 'bullying and prejudice' has become a caustic norm in American public life.
At an event hosted by the George W. Bush Institute, the 43rd U.S. president rattled off a thinly veiled litany of complaints about the current commander-in-chief, focusing on both his tone and his isolationist policy choices.

I find it interesting that “Dubya” decides to resurface and make a speech about the evil of Russia the day after the sh*t hist the fan about the Russians gaining access to uranium all to enrich the Clintons. You know, the same Clintons “adopted” by Daddy Bush? Maybe “Dubya” has his own skeletons to hide :)
That stupid Iraq war was the beginning of the big Mid East mess to where it migrants have been invading Europe. When they had Saddam the Sunnis ruled. Today the Shiites run Iraq and they are aligned with Iran. For all the trillions we spent we got not one penny of oil revenue.
All the young men and women killed and maimed
I will admit I went along with GWs invasion of Iraq and getting rid of Saddam but I would have been just as happy with us not going in. I always knew there was no big link of Saddam with terrorism.
Go back to sleep Jorge, I hear Jiminez Beam calling your name.
“W” never defended himself, and he left office with the lowest approval rating on record. Hopefully, President Trump will ignore his bad advice.

Of course. W said Jeb would make a good President.
I heard on Fox this was coming up. Frankly, this is what I expected.
Nary a word about the antichrist Obama in 8 years and now.....
What a disappointment he has been since leaving the White House.
Love one of the comments at the Daily mail;
“We have to Make America Great Again in large part due to G W Bush”.
I feel the same way.
Reminds me of Ed Koch and David Dinkins sounding off on how bad Giuliani was, and Giuliani kept hitting ‘em out of the park.
So true!
“My daddy said I could be president, and Jebby too!” bump for later
OH BLANK YOU Dubya!!
I used to get in so many fights defending your monkey @ss.
Get on board, or bugger off...
All you really need to know is just look at the genealogy record of the Bush and Walker families.
Apples don’t fall far from the tree.
He’s still pissed about Jeb losing to Trump. Piss off, Jorgie Boy.
For eight years this moron didn’t say a word about Obama as he changed America into a racist, corrupt and weakened country.
Now Trump gets in there to fix the problems that Obama and Bush created (like illegal immigration and massive debt) he shows up.
And remember, this “Republican” and his entire family voted for Hillary.
Just shut up, Bush.
We rescued you in 2004 when Dan Rather and John Kerry had you on the ropes, and you turned around and stabbed us in the back.
Just shut up.
You and your entire family, just shut up.
Bush has no decency in his attacks on Pres. Trump.
But conservatives are reading his lips and yellow stripe.
Exactly - it’s unreal
Not hardly. What about Wilson, Buchanan, Jackson just to name the most egregious. For that matter, John Adams and James Madison were not great as presidents.
Bush was dealt a lousy hand. By trying to de-legitimize him the Dems made the country look weak and invited the September 11 attacks. His response to that was as good as could be expected. The Iraq invasion was a mistake but it was caused by bad intel. Given the proximity of the 9/11 attacks the initial invasion was a reasonable response. Besides, Sadam had tried to kill his father. It was when Bush started trying to transform Iraq into a Jeffersonian democracy that the wheels came off.
Inexcusable was his (brief) support for the Venezuelan coup attempt in 2002. This undid 20 years of progress in US/Latin American relations and seriously damaged US credibility in the region. As a result of US intervention Chavez became president for life and it will be generations before the reputation of the US in Latin America recovers.
Bush was not a great president but I don't think history will judge him to be in the bottom third. More towards the middle of the pack.
