George W. Bush hinted Thursday at his dissatisfaction with Donald Trump, complaining in a New York City speech that 'bullying and prejudice' has become a caustic norm in American public life.
At an event hosted by the George W. Bush Institute, the 43rd U.S. president rattled off a thinly veiled litany of complaints about the current commander-in-chief, focusing on both his tone and his isolationist policy choices.

Has he taken over the site?
“You are now vindicated, as well as all the others who dared to criticize Bush in those days. Welcome back!”
thank you!
awww, I always wondered about your screenname!
Did I ruin the “Mystery”? LOL!
Actually, some folks see the word “left” in my screen name and think it was DU (EEK!)
Wow, they don’t read any further than the first word?
I NEVER thought it was THAT site, LOL!
LOL!
Some people call me “left” for short.
But I was banished from “that other site” for being TOO conservative! hahaha
Really! LOL, goes to show the GOP isnt conservative. Did the site take the GOP position on most things?
Yes. and sometimes I DID NOT agree! :-)
So sad...so many wasted young lives. We did not belong there...it was not in our national interests. One of my neighbors poured out his soul to me one day. He had been a Green Beret over there. He told me how he had to torture women, with electric shock to their nipples! Yes, I was speechless...this beautiful family next door...a gracious wife and three lovely young daughters. What was I supposed to say? Alls fair in love and war?
If he was doing that he did it on his own.
” someone remarked that it was as though we didn’t have a primary in 2000 at all, we just woke up one day to find another person named George Bush handed the nomination for the second time in a decade.”
That’s exactly how it seemed to me.
“There is a fakenews narrative that Saddam had no WMD, and practically everyone seems to be buying into it. “
Maybe because that was the conclusion of Bush’s own Iraq Survey Group- the 1,400 member team that spent over a year scouring Iraq for evidence of WMDs, from 2003-2005. They reported directly to Rumsfeld. The report, which no one ever bothers to read, is available at several sites on the web. The only WMDs they found were old poison gas artillery rounds that had been manufactured before the first Gulf War.

You covered it all.
“The only WMDs they found were old poison gas artillery rounds that had been manufactured before the first Gulf War.”
You must have heard that convoys were seen leaving Iraq.
I trust the men who saw a lot more than official government news releases.
“No WMDs” is another fake news narrative.
When the US military and contractors in Iraq burned massive amounts of materials that resulted in the premature deaths of those around the burn pits, then you wonder what exactly they were burning. The smoke hugged the ground rather than rising up and blowing away. What did our people burn and inhale? It wasn’t barbecue.
“you wonder what exactly they were burning”
Yup.
