I am seeing so many new victims showing up. I won’t question their statements.
I am not joining the MeToo crowd. That doesn’t mean I have never been harassed, coerced or whatever. But, just as the twitter #saveourgirls(was that what it was?), this will not accomplish anything except garner more tweets and shares and curiosity. JMHO
However......how long before there is a grand concert/event planned to raise money for awareness or something? You know it is coming.
I assume the opinion makers will cling to opinion making, like a pedophile priest will cling at his job of doing the church service choreography... all dancers and artists the same. And so they will do another fund raiser or, god forbid, set up a new law that will funnel more of our speech money and that of the victims into some obscure opinion making board and their pockets.
I think some of them are jumping on the bandwagon to get their names out there to help their careers (maybe not Ms. McGowan, but you understand what I mean). Remember, in Hollywood, there’s no such thing as bad publicity, as long as they spell your name right.
