The company that owns the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino implied Tuesday that it was in touch with wounded security guard Jesus Campos, who seemingly vanished last week as questions mounted over the Las Vegas casinos response to the Oct. 1 mass shooting.
MGM Resorts International issued a statement on Campos behalf Tuesday after the Los Angeles Times submitted a request to interview the Mandalay Bay security guard. Campos was shot in the leg by gunman Stephen Paddock inside the hotel shortly before Paddock began shooting at a concert across the street.
Jesus Campos wants to tell his story at a time and place of his choosing, spokeswoman Debra DeShong said in a written statement. Hes asked that everyone respect his request for privacy. We could not be more proud of Jesus.
Campos mysteriously left a Las Vegas hotel room last Thursday where he was preparing for televised interviews on the Sean Hannity show on Fox, as well as news shows on CNN, CBS, ABC and NBC. No interviews took place.

Remember the Las Vegas Sheriff has stopped taking questions in his press conferences.
Somewhere they're coaching Campos up hard, and when they think they've finally got him able to tell the right story, they'll trot him out in front of some softballing MSM journolister.
He stopped off on his way to the Quickie Mart after servicing his car at the Quickie Lube, in order to get some quickie stress psychological counseling.
Any bets on whether he is an illegal alien?
Was this guy an illegal?
Kitty Cat points out some interesting aspects of the case:

It is like they WANT to create conspiracy theories out of this case.
“Somewhere they’re coaching Campos up hard, and when they think they’ve finally got him able to tell the right story, they’ll trot him out in front of some softballing MSM journolister.”
That’s the story they want you to believe!
“Was this guy an illegal?”
Certainly possible.
But all the looney tunes theories? Give me a break.
He was sharing an SSN with another person, if that tells you anything.
I don’t blame him. One day you have your privacy and the next you are pushed into becoming a ‘public figure.’ Has the MSM called him a ‘white hispanic’ yet?
If it turns out he was illegal, the casinos are toast.
A security guard that couldn’t pass a legitimate background check...no wonder he was unarmed. And how many more workers do they have in strategic positions that haven’t been properly vetted?
The lawyers will have a field day.
I'm giving the poor guy the benefit of the doubt....leave him alone.
Just because he is not available to talk to the MSM, doesn’t mean he is “missing”.
The city is protecting Mandalay Bay. They let the shooter bring over 20 guns into his room.
Why am I watching a cat?
Interesting though.
The Sheriff blamed the differing accounts of the timeline given to the press on what they heard from Campos after bringing him in for a further round of interviews.
BTW, ABC News reported that Campos skipped town after the first set of interviews with police, even though he has a family there in LV.
They had to locate him and bring him back to LV for the second round of questioning.
In light of the at least theoretical possibility that Paddock had help, no one close to the scene of this terrible massacre should be given the benefit of the doubt, especially not someone who may have been giving shifting accounts of what happened.
kitty kat is great.
blood drops on the carpet leading to the revolver indicating that the revolver was moved after the alleged death.
sheriff candidate lombardo taking $2.5M campaign contributions from hotels including $10k from mandalay bay. this guy lombardo may be a dirty cop imho. sheriff lombardo might be on the take from mandalay bay imho.
Campos probably fled all the conspiracy nuts out there who figured out where he lived and wouldn’t leave him alone.
