He knows Bannon won’t stop, and McConnell & Co are now running scared from being primaried.
Result: tax cuts have a great chance of passing, along with other agenda items.
Having Trump say he wants others to close the barn door is not a strong position to get the door closed.
Besides, the horse is free ranging and unlikely to return to the captivity of a turtle.
I think it’s a squeeze play to get Turtle and his pals to behave. Almost as good as a mafia protection racket. And it’s deserved, too.
McConnell hasn’t done a damn thing for the last ten months except obstruct Trump. Why do anything for him?
