Unlike most posters here I do not see National Socilaism in the same leftist mold as Communism

Both are not good systems of governance for folks accustomed to freedom
I propose a third way if given a choice
Franco’s Spain version of Caudillo facism would be my preferred route if i was forced to pick an authoritarian system

As a political and economic system fascism would be a better comparison. And like socialism, can be a logical steppingstone to communism. Nazism’s racial theories, and particularly the transition to real world implementation are what sets it apart. And can Communist governments implement similar racial/economic/social policies of extermination, of course, they have. Though usually based on economic, political and social affiliations. Not sure I’d want to waste time distinguishing between their pursuit of evil. Religions can do it too.
