HARTFORD, Conn. -- Connecticut lawmakers are considering whether the state should become the first in the country to allow police to use drones outfitted with deadly weapons, a proposal immediately met with concern by civil rights and civil liberties advocates.
The bill would ban the use of weaponized drones, but exempt police. Details on how law enforcement could use drones with weapons would be spelled out in rules to be developed by the state Police Officer Standards and Training Council. Officers also would have to receive training before being allowed to use drones with weapons.

North Dakota is the only state that allows police to use weaponized drones, but limits the use to less lethal weapons, including stun guns, rubber bullets and tear gas.
Five states - Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Vermont and Wisconsin - prohibit anyone from using a weaponized drone, while Maine and Virginia ban police from using armed drones, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. Several other states have restricted drone use in general.

Still have no idea what you’re talking about then. Jim Jones?
Then its truly not important
;)
No, but the California fires could have been set by drones with directed energy weapons.
So who would use those drones against citizens of CA? Santa Rosa, CA had huge losses... Pot farms burned, and of course thousands of homes... our military air security is best, so how could it have happened>
From what I read, these weapons are only in the hands of governments. Drones do not seem to be on our Air Force’s defense agenda, or not low-flying, short-distance drones anyway.
I have been thinking about who would want to do this. There are a lot of possibilities.
I apologize for late reply, as I have been on cleaning spree...before cold weather.
Who do you think might want to do this? Obama? Could he have access to drones that sophisticated? Your opinion?
Don't be turned off by the movie clip. Keep going.
didn;t they use a drone to kill that copkiller in Dallas last year?
They killed him with a bomb disposal robot.
I remember discussing this on FR at the time of the Dallas shooting and when they thought they had him surrounded in a parking garage, I was thinking a drone would be the best way to locate him without endangering cops, since he was trying to ambush them.
The capability of these lethal drones is here, legislatures are today facing the question of whether cops should be allowed to use them, but the issue seems to be somewhat flying under the radar so to speak.
land air or sea, it’s a drone.
During "Shock and Awe" you remember hearing about those smart-bombs they can fly through a window, or down a chimney?
Well, that was then, this is now...should be a piece of cake.
Make sure you go all the way to the end on that link I sent you. He shows how the exact areas that Santa Rosa wanted modified to meet Agenda 21 goals were the areas that were laser-bombed. The original memo has since been taken down from the Internet, but he shows his copy. I don’t think it could be fake. Too vulnerable to libel.
I watched the video, and I had not thought about lasers or the possibilities.... When UN Agenda 21 is involved, nothing is too evil for those globalists. I would NOT live in CA.
Someone named Elena is a believer in this attack being government?? Ii had seen the drone video of damage in Santa Rosa the other day.
I watched a History Channel video on the Air Force and creation of those lasers. Not sure about fake news part.
