“Do you think that any fast food or sit down restaurant would ever hire a person with that on her records?”

Sadly, if that is on her record at this Whataburger, no future employee ever will know that. Having worked in HR for several years, I know it’s no longer possible to give a negative response if a potential employer asks for references. (Result of lawsuits.) IIRC, the only thing you can do is verify the salary they made, and the dates of employment. Can’t even respond if they ask if you’d ever re-hire this employee. So she’s basically safe.

It would have been nice if the news report gave her name and picture for the Fox news article. That would have followed her around forever.
