Career employees at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) got emotional when Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced on behalf of President Trumps administration that an Obama-created temporary amnesty program for illegal aliens would ultimately end, according to a source at the agency. A source at the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), an agency within DHS, told CNN of the reaction to Sessions announcement last month that Trump would keep his promise to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which gives work permits to 800,000 illegal aliens, by career employees at the agency:
While political appointees and career officials are not described as butting heads, some of policy ideas do end up moderated by career employees on practical grounds. One source also described some employees of USCIS, which administers DACA, as getting emotional when the plan was made to end the program.
Once it gets to a senior level, there are pretty robust discussions, another source familiar said. And once it gets to that level there are folks with ideas, and then folks who have been around for a while who say, That wont work.'

DACA was never about immigration. It was about Democrat voter registration.
Despite it and the voter fraud in blue states, Hillary still lost. Miracles happen.
“....folks who have been around for a while who say, That wont work.’
That’s never stopped management at any place I ever worked from requiring implementation.
Immediately remove these ‘emotional’ people from this department. They cry when their liberal candidate loses an election and cry at their jobs. These people are unfit.
Oh , Boo Hoo
DACA was never legal.
It was an illegal program started by an illegal President to benefit illegal aliens illegally in our country.
Citizens of other countries illegally in our country should not be protected from our laws.
They should be removed.
I don’t care.
The head of the company has all of the department heads in and informs them of their new project that they will implement immediately.
Those department heads all shake their heads and grumble to one after another, This just wont work and I dont like doing it anyway.
The owner and CEO does (1) Apologizes to the department heads and agrees his project should have been run by them first to check and see if they liked it; or (2) Tells the department heads to go back to their offices, clean out their desks and consider themselves terminated immediately. They are to pick up their checks at HR and vacate the premises by noon!
Hmmm do you choose option 1 or 2?
Reminds me of the sad story of the visitor at the USDA headquarters who saw a man crying uncontrollably in the corner of the large room with many other bureaucrats standing around him offering consolations. The visitor asked a manager what is wrong with the crying man and was told, ‘Poor guy.. His farmer died.’
LOL

Sounds like the NFL
:chuckles:
I’m gonna steal that!
Sounds like a deep RIF is needed.... enough to knock a GS-11 down to a GS-5 should do it.
I got emotional too!
Fire each employee who got “emotional”. That is a giveaway that they are traitors to MAGA. If you can’t fire them, assign them to bathroom-cleaning duties in a third world country post.
In old East Germany, it was estimated that 1 in 3 of the workforce was employed by STASSI to spy on their neighbors.
Just think what the fall of the wall did to their employment numbers!
Reagan used to make a great joke about that, but I forget how it went . . .

They should have been fired on January 20th!
