Tennessee Titans player Rishard Matthews tweeted Thursday that hell quit the NFL if the league implements a rule forcing players to stand during the anthem.
No I will be done playing football, Matthews tweeted and ultimately deleted when asked if he would be willing to face punishment for not standing if a new rule is implemented.
This is a very dumb tweet, for multiple reasons. Matthews is forcing himself into a corner. What will he do if a new rule is passed, and the Titans call his bluff? Hes going to be out of a job that pays millions simply because he wont stand for the anthem.
Thats not smart business. This wouldnt be a problem if he had simply tweeted that hed be very upset, but instead he took it all the way. Should be really interesting to if he ends up following through on his threat or not.
do a search of Rishard Matthews Obama tattoo
Yeah and Cher is moving out of the country too.
Bye Bye Dufus McGee. See how long the ladies and your “crew” hang around once you are broke and no mo dough b cumming in. ;-)
Funny you should say that. Some guy on here made up the term "kneegoers" and I took it and put it on one of those big color things on my facebook. It said, "Some of my best friends are Kneegoers."
I thought it was hilarious. I got some feedback from a couple of my negro friends. A good time was had by all.
Excellent point.
The NFL deserves this.
They allowed the leftist activists to take over the clubhouse, encouraged it with the leftist press releases, and the players correctly interpreted this as complicity in their protest.
Goodell needs to get gone!
Then the new Commissioner they can fire the tweeter and his hundred closest “friends” for damaging the public image and standing of the league.
Well, get on with it. Dont be teasin.
This stoopid will be holding a sign for a road crew when all is said and done.
Too stoopid to flip burgers at mickey d’s
If it’s open to the public, free speech subject to reasonable regulation as to location and manner may apply (to the fans as well as the players), but it’s still true that a person on the clock may not publically disparage or cause harm to his employer’s interests while claiming First Amendment protection.
If you work for Pfizer and are sent to a scientific conference at Harvard Medical School, and you decide to set up a soapbox on Longwood Avenue to denounce drug pricing, the police can’t arrest you for content (First Amendment), but you won’t be a Pfizer employee when the sun goes down.
Of course it is true that with the courts mostly with the #resistance, they could very well rule that the players have 1st A rights superior to the interests of their employers.
YOU WON'T BE MISSED!
I won’t know if he kneels or stands because I won’t be watching.

We'll never know. The league and owners do not have the gonads to make these spoiled children act right. Much like most of todays parents.
The worlds needs ditch-diggers, too.
