And yes, there is such a thing as good rap, but I have to go back to RUN DMC to find it, amongst a very few others. RUN DMC’s stuff was fun and funny, not about violence, politics, racism, in-your-face-whatever etc.
Eminem is no RUN DMC. He’d be about as fun at a party as Colin K himself. Turd in the punchbowl fun.
Some of the Beastie boys songs were catchy/funny back in the day.
