Well, another American institution bites the dust, thanks to leftist infiltration.

I absolutely DESPISE these leftist scum that can’t leave things they don’t like alone. They just HAVE to put a stop to anything they don’t like. So the scumbags have done it again, and no one will stop them for fear of being called not politically correct.

I was a Boy Scout in the '60's. Both my sons became Eagle Scouts in the mid-2000's -- back at a time when the BSA fought in Federal Court and won the right to continue to exclude faggots. Both enlisted in the USMC and were elevated a rank straight out of boot camp because of their Eagle accomplishment.

Then the big-monied sponsors faggotized themselves, became infested with SJW's, and threatened to pull the money from the BSA unless they allowed the fags into the troops and the organization -- as led by Bush's and Obama's former Sec'y of Defense Bob Gates Gates leaves Boy Scouts presidency, defends gay adult policy . The BSA caved.

Girl Scouts back in the 1930's and 40's had an Eagle Scout program of their own. I know this for a fact because a church friend of mine stood as a part of my oldest son's Honor Guard at his Eagle ceremony.

The program is run like this in other countries and it works well.

The Boy Scouts of AMERICA had been the premier organization in Scouting and stood head and shoulders above Scouting anywhere else, but one supposes you didn't know that about Scouting back then.

But today's BSA is a shadow of what it once was, and buttressing the sagging memberships by soliciting girls to join is a joke. You are kidding yourself to say otherwise.

None of the postings before 61 mention that the BSA is organized as group of chapters known as ouncils which can set policy for their given area. Unless that has changed.

Maybe the bright side of this is that the girl-Boyscouts will be safer from the homosexual Scout leaders than the boy-Boyscouts...unless they are allowing female homosexual scout leaders too. In that case the girl-Boyscouts and the boy-Boyscouts will both be at risk with the boy-Boyscouts being preyed upon by the man-boy Scout leaders and the girl-Boyscouts being preyed upon by the woman-girl Scout leaders. But in today’s world there’s no guarantee that the boy-Boyscouts and the girl-Boyscouts wouldn’t both be set upon by Scout leaders of the opposite gender, or of any of the multitude of genders and preferences that we’re told exist. Clear?

The irony in this is that liberals already destroyed the Girl Scouts. They had a third of the paid employees as lesbians more than ten years ago, and they started to hemorrhage members when:
* stay at home mothers were to be discriminated against as leaders and other positions because they were considered bad role models; several formed American Heritage Girls instead
* feminism became a badge
* pro-abortion through and through

The amount of trouble I would have gotten into had their been girls in my scout troop is too scary to think about.

Talk about ruined lives. Guys with no interest in scouting will be joining just to be around girls.

38 years ago I climbed a peak in NC to stay the night and watch the sunrise then next morning.

I was bedded down behind a big rock when I scout troop climbed up to watch the sunset; they didn’t know I was there and I could hear everything they said.

The scoutmaster proceeded to give them “the man’s” talk about being responsible, treating girls with respect, being polite and honest, being on time, and ended the talk on honor.

To me, teaching young boys to become men is what scouts should be all about.

I seriously doubt girls would ever get the “don’t be sluts” talk from anyone in the organization today.

Back in the 70’s there were troops of cuban scouts in Miami. Their mothers did the cooking for them on camp-outs. No kidding. The moms even wore uniforms.
