I no longer discuss Second Amendment with leftist gun grabbers. I just say we have them, we know how to use them, and we are quite willing to use them. Do you think you have what it takes to come and get them?
That usually concludes the dialogue on the subject.
You wanna hear some real cricket chirping, ask the constitutional experts to explain to you how “the people” mentioned in the 1st, 4th, 9th, and 10th amendments are different than “the people” mentioned in the 2nd amendment.
It usually get really quiet after that. Sometimes, you even get the whiff of burning meat and smoke coming out of their ears as they try to come up with something. It can be fun.
