What is she talking about? The most recent USSC rulings make clear the 2A is an individual right. That ends the old canard the lefties used to push about it being a collective “militia” right.

She changed the old arguments slightly, saying the militia refers to foreign militias but I am not sure how anyone can read that interpretation from the 2As “well regulated militia” but as pepsionice mentioned above even if you did read it that way it simply supports the notion that the people need to be armed.

Exactly. When the 2nd was drafted, we already had an army, viz. the Continental Army. The "militia" was separate from that. The "militia" was an armed citizenry, armed with the same weapons as government troops.

The gun control acts of '34, '68, and '86 have largely neutered the Founding Father's intent.
