Everybody knew D-Day was coming and the media at the time reported the build up and even that Eisenhower was Commander of it. Just didnt knew when and where.

I used the D-day metaphor as an example of telegraphing your intentions. I remember the Donald specifically saying many times he wouldn't tell the enemy what he was up to like Osucka did. This is a harmful leak which allows the enemy to maneuver both politically and militarily.
I don't like it.

Exactly right. Ike even put a fake unit in Britain headed by Patton to mislead the Germans. Everyone knew it was coming.
