Yes, of course.

The clichés about the small-town attorney and his secretary, or the real-estate agent, or the insurance salesman.

Not to mention Mad Men, and the big-city rat race.

I worked for a big company (which was swallowed-up by an even bigger global company). We had a very cute young sales rep in our office, a blonde girl, about 25 years old. She got selected to go to this big corporate team building event at a resort in San Diego that top producers who had been there for 20 years never got invited to.

The boss (who was a woman) told her before she left “don’t sleep with anybody, unless you really think it will help you get ahead in this company.” She was serious.
