It’s amazing, in a wonderful way, that a man who never claimed to be an exemplary Christian, has stood by conservatives and Christians better and more meaningfully than other Presidents who made great hay of their Christian credentials. Though I also give credit to Mike Pence, who is an unapologetic Christian who, as far as I know, walks his talk.

Pat’s a bit duplicitous. That’s why we need a Trump, not a Buchanan, as President.

Stand up for America and her values of freedom and faith against the onslaught of Leftist tyranny and lies.

Trump understands that the war is real - they hate that he is so willing to engage the enemy....

Well said. Everything I have read from VP Pence has been consistent with his beliefs and supportive of President Trump. A most impressive man!

For years, conservatives have been waiting for someone that has the courage to fight. I have had it up to here witnessing capitulation, appeasement, compromise, and cowardice. Trump fights. You cannot appease or make deals with Evil.

I don’t think Pat has been duplicitous

"His proclamation failed to mention indigenous peoples."

That is duplicitous IMO.

I literally just had a 20 minute discussion with a liberal coworker, explaining the First Amendment to him. He truly believed that not only did the players have a right to protest, BUT that the League or team could not terminate their employment because it would be a “violation of their Constitutional rights” I ended the conversation by telling him to call Corporate and call our CEO an “a$$hole” and see how long his First Amendment rights lasted. He declined. LOL

I know it's easily dismissed by the left as a propaganda stunt, but signing the Petition to end all taxpayer funded subsidies to the NFL and NBA will provide Trump additional leverage to take action.

No, no, no. Pat Buchanan was quoting the liberal media’s take on President Trump’s Columbus day message, not lamenting Trump’s missing “shout out” to native Americans

I’ll believe he has embraced the culture war when I see him clean out the political correctness destroying our military.

beware anyone who claims the mantel of Christianity as proof they are deserving of a political office. I myself trust the quiet one who know they are but never use it as a qualifier for political power.

Not embraces: engages - there’s a difference.

The RINOs refuse to engage the enemy.

Nope, quotes ended in the paragraph above. That was Pat talking.

Pat makes welcomed observations here, but to me, he’s sitting on the sidelines making these observations, maybe even cheering once in a while. But IMO, he’s non-committal. I don’t see Pat in this fray of Trump and America vs. the Delusional Lying Left.

Although his observations here are welcome and a breath of fresh air from the constant stream of stale Leftist output, Pat seems to me to be sitting on the sidelines making these observations, maybe even cheering once in a while. But IMO, he’s non-committal. I don’t see Pat in this fray of Trump and America vs. the Delusional Lying Left.

“His proclamation failed to mention indigenous peoples” seems to me to be throwing a bone to the Left.

Although I like him in many ways, Pat seems to be a “chip off the old block” of Nixon who seems to be his hero. But Nixon was also duplicitous who never understood the things that people like Reagan stood for - America freedom and limited government - saying things like “Reagan Was ‘Shallow’ and of ‘Limited Mental Capacity’. https://www.quora.com/What-did-Richard-Nixon-think-of-Ronald-Reagan

Nixon was an establishment guy as I think Pat is in some ways.
