Harvey Weinstein, the disgraced cofounder and CEO of The Weinstein Company, has been fired effective immediately, his board of directors said on Sunday.
The statement said:
In light of new information about misconduct by Harvey Weinstein that has emerged in the past few days, the directors of The Weinstein Company Robert Weinstein, Lance Maerov, Richard Koenigsberg and Tarak Ben Ammar have determined, and have informed Harvey Weinstein, that his employment with The Weinstein Company is terminated, effective immediately.
The company has been under intense pressure since The New York Times broke an investigative story on Thursday detailing three decades of sexual misconduct, including propositioning actresses and harrassing female employees. More ugly stories continued to dribble out over the weekend, including a vulgar report by a news anchor that Weinstein masturbated in front of her and other stories of inappropriate propositions.

We Won. Elections have consequences.
Liberals don't care about the issues nearly as much as they care about being seen as caring about the issues.
My suspicion is it may be fallout from this: "Police stated that they are unable to release any names at this point, but confirmed that the arrested included some 'household names' in the entertainment industry.": 238 Arrested in Major Hollywood Pedophile Ring Bust: 'Major Hollywood players' taken down for child sex crimes
Now that Rose McGowan has used the “monster” word I think it is pretty clear that she is talking about something a good deal more aggressively physical than “sexual harassment”.....

Meryl Streep: She was not his type, so he didnt hit on her.
I am sure these guys never did anything illegal or immoral.
Oh Lordy and UGH. Pizzagate really might exist?
That was my initial hunch. Have seen nothing to change my mind. NYT taking orders from BHO
“WHAP - and just like that, under the bus you go Harvey. Still the 64 dollar question remains - who did he piss off.”
Some chatter on the Chans that O’Keefe or Assange has a NYTimes reporter on tape, saying that they have sat on the story for two years per orders from the top, and was going to drop it this week.
“how could this happen to the man Meryl Streep referred to as God at a recent awards ceremony - could it be that shes stupid?.....”
Lots of rumors floating around the nets that she has been a GROOMER of young girls for this guy, explaining to them what being a big star in Hollywood “Requires”, and occasionally taking a bite of them herself.
An investigation by The New York Times found previously undisclosed allegations against Mr. Weinstein stretching over nearly three decades, documented through interviews with current and former employees and film industry workers, as well as legal records, emails and internal documents from the businesses he has run, Miramax and the Weinstein Company.
During that time, after being confronted with allegations including sexual harassment and unwanted physical contact, Mr. Weinstein has reached at least eight settlements with women, according to two company officials speaking on the condition of anonymity. Among the recipients, The Times found, were a young assistant in New York in 1990, an actress in 1997, an assistant in London in 1998, an Italian model in 2015 and Ms. OConnor shortly after, according to records and those familiar with the agreements. . .
Looks like Malaria wont be using him for a job reference
Still holding out hope that Weinstein’s final film will star him kneeling in an orange jumpsuit.
That would fit the article I posted in #95.
