Bridal week is just getting started, but a big theme has already emerged: non-wedding dresses. By that, we dont mean dresses that arent bridal, nor dresses in crazy colors; rather, designers are considering what a bride might wear to her pre-wedding party, post-wedding brunch, and myriad other wedding-related events, in addition to the ceremony and reception. Any girl who spent the summer crisscrossing the globe for destination weddings can attest that those brides need way more than one look; the current vogue, if youre lucky, is to wear a range of chic white outfits leading up to the big day.
Marchesas Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig were thinking along those lines and spoke of transformation. Their dresses can help turn you into a blushing bride, of course, but they also come with metamorphic properties. For Fall 18, one minidress had a removable high-low train that you could twist to the front or side to show flashes of skinor remove altogether to hit the dance floor. Another short dress in Chantilly lace had of-the-moment poufed sleeves and looked ideal for a city hall wedding or an engagement party. Of course, saying I do in a Marchesa gown is still the dream for many brides. As far as real-deal, exchanging-vows dresses were concerned, the delicate capelet gowns were among the highlights.

In proof that God has a fabulous sense of humor, the fashion house which Harvey helped his wife Georginia Chapman to create, has just launched its 2018 collection of bridal dresses.
I would only feel sorry for this woman if she had no idea what a total sleazoid her husband is, but somehow I doubt that's the case. Did she just "use" him to get backing for her fashion career? Inquiring minds want to know....

I don’t know how Vogue could be so careless as to have a bunch of assistants gawking in the background of this photo, but I thought that was pretty funny, too. What an unprofessional photo for a glossy fashion magazine!

Yeah, I didn’t think it was a good look for Vogue! (or for the fashion house)
How did photo editors ever let that image get in the magazine that way??????

Looked up who this Georginia Chapman might be and look like.
The thought of her and that fat, greasy slob is mind boggling.

Ok, I did a quick look. Many beautiful dresses some of which would look great on Melania. Some reminded me of hwat FLOTUS wore on inauguaration night...with the ribbon belt.
I don’t really think anything is bad about the line..just what the woman had to do to get it funded...i.e have sex with a total creepy pig! Doesn’t seem worth it!

That's why one must suspect a "marriage of convenience" for her.... They only married around a decade ago.... she would have been around 30 and rather "hot" when choosing to marry a (then) 55ish rich guy mogul who is fat, unkempt, unshaven, a power obsessed compulsive womanizer, and generally slovenly. Could she really have been making a love match? Lots of unusual matches are possible, but it is hard to believe in love for this one..... er, Beauty and the Beast???
Well, at least she got a fashion atelier out of it!
Think she married him for the money??

yes, the line seems nice, I just shudder to think of what she had to “do” to get there..... well.... her life, her choices.... but given that he is such a perv, there may have been loads of deception towards her, at least in the early months if not until now.

That's because Weinstein just walked in and dropped trou. Even the cameraman was stunned when Harvey started pulling his Pekar.

She had trouble getting noticed at all until she met Weinstein. Then anyone looking for a role in a Weinstein movie had to wear one of her gowns on the red carpet and to public events. So he made her and if his sleazy behavior breaks her fashion line she will still walk away around 30 million dollars richer than when they first met.

ROFL. Yes, that woman who’s gawking definitely has the expression, “WTF”???

As you can see ... Georginia Chapman has been designing
tasteful wedding dresses for Democraps for several years.

Here is Harvey's...
favorite for those quite bathroom weddings that he holds when he has to tinkle or whatever--
