Thats the craziest thing. A good deal of the personal wealth of each of these owners is tied up in the value of their team. Whatever would have convinced them to universally trash the good will of their loyal customers so?
Good question. Do they feel the strong need to bend over backwards to prove that they are liberal? Even at the cost of the value of their business???
And what do they gain by appeasing radical liberal types?
Radical liberal types tend not to follow sports in the first place. So it’s not like they gain new customers or new fans from taking the liberal side on these protests.
The financial worth of the team is tied to the cash flow from advertisers, who are vulnerable to attacks from the Left.
From what I have read, Soros is at the center of this.

They don’t understand why their team has value. They view the sum total of their assets.....team franchise, contracts with players, concession sales, broadcast rights....as the value of their team. They have it completely wrong.
The value of the team is its fans willingness to spend money....a lot of money....on an ongoing basis enjoying watching the team play.
Without this basic understanding, they removed the enjoyment. And so removed any potential growth in revenue. These owners stood with their team in protest. They put the present and future value of their franchises in question.
They should have stood with their fans.
The only true value of a franchise...the fans...have been chased off. They won’t all come back even if they do all the right things from here on.
Dumbasses.
There is a huge cultural and economic disconnect between players and fans that wasn't there a generation ago. 35 years ago I dated a girl who lived in a garden variety middle class neighborhood. The guy who lived next door to her was a starting NBA Forward. Those days are long gone.
