but the key-card entry while he was off the premises is very interesting. He could have left, then returned and temporarily parked outside and run back up to the room because he forgot something. I would be curious to see a more complete timeline synced up with the hotel's video footage of comings and goings.

Very slight chance. Why park on the street, where you might not even be able to do it legally, then run up from the lobby? The garage would be quicker. Garage has elevator service, I assume.

More than likely he loaned one of his room cards (most hotels usually give you two, unless you ask for more) to someone he knew at the casino.
Accomplice? Unknown - to us, at least.
You can bet there’s a whole lot of video from the hotel elevators, front desk, hallways, etc. being reviewed.

Yes, what you said. They might have a “10 minute” unloading area, and he could have parked there to go back up for something.
