My wife has an opinion on women vs men regarding nastiness. If I may paraphrase it in my own words, if God had given women the physical power of men, it would have been as disastrous as if he had given the physical power of pit bulls to Chihuahuas.
Because she had real, radical political beliefs rather than just narcissistic self-interest. She shows herself as a radical feminist AND a racist.
Back when I was told I couldn’t give a Zeiss lecture at a planetarium because I was a woman and only a man’s voice was authoritative in the dark, I wanted to be on an equal footing with men, not their better. Most of what I hear today is of people searching out supposed wrongs so that they can dominate the other side. Equality seems to be a phrase now that is a slippery slope term to gain dominance, not real equality.
