ABC World News Tonight said the shooter had rented rooms at OTHER Las Vegas Strip hotels the night of the shooting.
When the shooting was happening in real time, there were police reports of shots being fired from the Luxor Hotel (that’s the pyramid-shaped hotel with the Egyptian theme, for those unfamiliar with Las Vegas).
I dismissed that early report as reverberations coming from the rounds fired from Mandalay Bay, but now I’m wondering WTH?
There was a police scanner report of a shooting at the same time on “Reno & Giles.” Nothing appeared later.
I saw a video posted to Facebook earlier today that showed the lobby of the Bellagio, and all the people who were locked in and not allowed to leave. The woman insisted the the media wasn’t telling everything because there had been shots fired at the Bellagio also.
