Considering that most battlefield deaths have been caused by guns, the coach is indubitably right but his observation is meaningless. It is like saying that more Americans were killed in automobile accidents than have been killed on the roads and streets.
Someone should ask him “Does this include the 700,000 soldiers killed fighting to stop slavery?”
