Las Vegas madman Stephen Paddock set up a camera inside his hotel room to capture his deadly shooting rampage — and other surveillance in the hallway to alert him as cops closed in on him, according to reports.
The shooter had at least one lens set up to tape himself as he unleashed hell on thousands of unsuspecting concertgoers several hundred yards below his ritzy casino suite, according to ABC News.

I believe nothing until I see the unedited footage of the supposed film.
Nothing about this entire thing makes any sense. People don’t just go crazy like that for no reason and I’m not calling some video poker debts a reason for someone of this guy’s means.
Too early to know how many people were involved. Then there was the muzzle flashes coming from around the 5th or 6th floor that need to be explained.

I’m skeptical of the rally photos. If it is him, it could be that he was trying to spark a civil war by murdering presumed Republicans, filming it as a “call to arms” for his fellow leftists.

Only three photos of him have surfaced, one is him when dead.

In due time, we will be *told* what his background, motive and other particulars are. Be patient.
How could he set up surveillance to know when the cops were coming? He would’ve had to do it in public space. Casinos have cameras EVERYWHERE. Surely any setting up cameras in a hallway would’ve drawn attention.
Vegas operates off a different set of principles since they are always a prime target for litigation. Everything for the room crews in the larger properties is highly business only. Get the job done and get out because people are constantly in and out of the rooms, 24/7. Plus, that property has about 33,000 rooms.
More effort than the subhuman deserves. Just toss the corpse into the desert. It will be gone in 24 hours or less.

I was talking about the ISIS-claimed connection with the shooter, which is up in the air.
We first heard that he had set up cameras to warn himself about when the cops/SWAT would be closing in. Those were in the hall.
This most recent story is that he was also filming himself. ISIS terrorists (and who knows if he is Muzzie inspired, a lone nut, or a diligent modern leftist) often film themselves, both dedicating their action, and in snuff films. An action film of him shooting qualifies.
But, such a film isn’t much good as a memorial if it never gets out, which it won’t if you’re dead. However, today’s electronics is capable of being set up for real time streaming and uploading... via the hotel wireless, or a cellphone. It’s something I’d check, in the interest of thoroughness.
Skepticism is absolutely fine.
I am sure the people at the rally can be positively identified by lar enforcement.

But if it is him... we are at war.
And if that is him, is that the type of thing that the powers that be would want swept under the rug? You betcha.
There were pictures of the suit from outside through the broken windows. The broken windows were in different rooms meaning he had to run around furniture and walls to reload. Not a clear shot, so to speak.
Guess we’ll see or not.
