So when you are driving a car and it runs out of ‘juice’ we can just hike to the ‘juice station’ and get a 200 pound battery of ‘juice’ or 500 pounds of ‘juice connected’ jumper cables?

I have an idea for a fleet of black smoke belching coal powered recharging trucks that will load up stranded EVs with dead batteries and charge them up as they carry them on to(wards) their original destination. Maybe make them big and fancy with a special customer lounge with WiFi and a big screen maybe even a shower and hot tub.

There's a Chinese company who is working on battery exchange stations. They look like high tech Jiffy Lube. It's all run by machine. You pull in, the machine takes out your old battery, replaces it with a charged one and you drive out in less than 5 minutes. For it to work there would have to be standard batteries.
